For qualified psychology doctoral students, post-doctoral psychological assistants and MFT associates in California, the path to becoming a licensed professional can be long and demanding. I was fortunate to have some gifted and generous supervisors at all stages of my training – from first internship to analytic training. Giving back in the form of offering training and supervision is something I value deeply and take seriously.
I am a certified Jungian psychoanalyst, a member of the CG Jung Institute of Los Angeles, a clinical supervisor at Airport Marina Counseling Service, and an instructor for Community Memorial Healthcare in California training psychiatric residents. I also provide peer supervision and case consultation to colleagues in California and around the country. I have served as a professor at the California School of Professional Psychology/Alliant University, and have given presentations at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts, Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology, the CG Jung Institute of Los Angeles, the annual North/South Conference for Jungian psychoanalysis, and Airport Marina Counseling Service. I have appeared on various podcasts speaking on the impact of media and technology on psychological functioning. I have authored a chapter on the archetype of the Machine in the recently published volume from Routledge, Psychological and Philosophical Studies of Jung’s Teleology: The Future-Orientation of Mind.
